No. 501 Zum ends at VMC 501A/C go direct to York, from Hwy 7/Hwy 50

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

But there is an agreement, outside of Toronto. York, Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, and probably more accept either other's transfers along long as they're still valid. It's literally only TTC that doesn't have such an agreement. While they don't accept passes, Presto...

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

It's hardly entitlement to not want to pay an extra fare now when that is how it always operated before now, which increases the cost of commuting with zero benefit to the actual riders. Coming from Brampton the situation is just as awkward, as if I want to travel to York Region, I can't take...

    Mississauga Mississauga Transitway | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | IBI Group

Renforth station is actually just outside the city of Toronto limits. All MiWay buses drop off ALL passengers on the street outside Islington, and they have to pay a TTC fare to continue their journey. There is no extra fare to reach the subway from Renforth.

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

This has been discussed before. Really, the biggest obstacle to any elevation of the extension north of Steeles is the rail line. The subway would have to rise from Pioneer Village much too quickly to get over the CN main line, which is roughly at ground level.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

That platform has been out of service for years now, at least 3 by my estimation. And it looked ready to be repaved 3 years ago. What exactly has been going on with platform four at Bramalea?

    Discontinuous streets

There's quite a few discontinuous streets through Woodbridge: Kipling, twice. Pine Valley. Langstaff, many times.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I found pictures I have from Roncesvalles yards Doors Open 2012 showing the original plan for the new streetcars. It's a little painful to see how wrong it was.

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

Because this is a brand new bridge replacing a level crossing over a fairly active freight line in the midst of a residential neighbourhood. You can't exactly speed-replace a bridge that doesn't exist. Although... given how long Torbram grade separation has been going just a few km west...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Before Kitchener had midday trains several years ago, I had travel down to UofT to drop off some papers. I took the last morning train in, dropped off the papers and then headed all the way up to York to back to Brampton. It gave me the Go discount price even though I tapped off Go at Union.

    miWay Transit

I figured out what is bugging me about this map. It's slightly incorrect. I believe that Torbram Rd is the WB stop and Cattrick is the EB stop, because there is no place for a stop EB at Torbram, and Cattrick is the nearest one, although it's halfway to Airport Rd. It's a little awkward, but...

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

I had trouble with this too after dark when only Spadina had the streetcars way back when. The button, while in a good place for all to reach, is below your normal eye view, and is an entirely different expectation from how all other transit vehicles work. It will cause problems when you don't...

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

The Richmond Hill Go line south of Oriole is not in a very station friendly area. It's way down in the Don River, and it only gets worse the far south you go. It's not in a good spot for any type of upgrade (ie. multiple tracks) much less a station at Eglinton. Not to mention the possibility of...

    Brampton Transit/Zum

I don't like the proposed changes to 9 Vodden. It means the loss of service completely along Central Park on the weekends.

Unknowledgeable speculation: Better drainage because the tunnel is below the waterline?

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

Isn't York Mills pretty much under the Don River? And, as far as I can tell, the only time the subway actually travels under a river. Just saying.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I got a little weird problem with Presto recently, although the only effect is that I ended up with a free ride after the fact somehow. I had to do some stuff around York U on Monday, but I got dropped off at Yorkdale. I took the TTC up, did my stuff and then took Brampton Zum bus home. My tap...

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

They probably don't want to pay a double fare anyways to continue on a bus, especially in bad weather. I usually get a ride to the subway if it's a weekday morning because someone is already going right by it anyways and it saves me money on 905 bus fare.

    TTC: Customer Service

Also the fact that most of the streetcar routes (and thereby those replaced by buses) don't have any major hills to navigate up and down. Which may play a role in why the 512 gets replaced during ice storms. They probably don't want to have to deal with iced wires going up the hill on Bathurst...

    Brampton Transit/Zum

Wow Brampton has really changed a lot. Even more than I realized just from looking at these maps. And the routes have really changed, even in the past decade.
