    TTC: Easier Access Phase III

I'm interested to see their plans for Islington and Warden, which basically need a complete rebuild to accommodate elevators and access to the bus bays, which is why they're very last on the list. Of which Islington bus bays are literally falling apart.

    Brampton Transit/Zum

28 Wanless looks to mostly a repeat of other routes, the only unique part of is the section on Remembrance Dr replacing the realignment of 27. But, with 28 and 81, they do seem to adding more routes to the Sandalwood Loop. New service deeper into Caldeon with 81, and rather oddly it turns...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

I'll need further clarification on the entirely of these cuts (the wording is vague enough that it could mean a elimination of weekend bus service on the Kitchener corridor? - which is insanity). But this is an attack on public transit of the highest order.

    Transit Fantasy Maps

There are sections of some routes that run along Steeles, and they accept passengers normally on Steeles, but not TTC fares. I've occasionally used them to get from Brampton to some locations in North York without having to pay a second fare.

I don't see any double track. This may be a (huge) oversight though. The 1:20am train you refer to is entirely new to the schedule, which only goes into effect this Saturday. The last train in the current schedule arrives at 12:50am Canada Day is on a Saturday schedule.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Who just parks on tracks, in the middle of the day, in the middle of a crosswalk? Like, that's not something you just accidentally do.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I check the time left on my transfer more than my actual balance, which the TTC readers don't show yet either.

    Toronto Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

I wouldn't call it a sense of entitlement to be annoyed for fares to be lowered from the original price only to then be raised back up again from the next change of government.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I've seen streetcars chartered in Toronto before for private parties - but no alcohol.

Because they're not the same distance. Georgetown - Acton is just under 10km. Acton - Guelph is near 20km.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

https://www.gotransit.com/en/trip-planning/fares/fare-changes Actual new fares for each line have been posted. $3.70 is the price for ALL stations within 10km, throughout the whole system. The only thing not clear with these charts is for trips that may be traveling through Union.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

It's not the presto system that's the problem (in this case), it's the payment machine which is mostly unrelated to Presto. I wonder if the debit/credit problem was just that it wasn't reliably connected to the network to run cards because the location isn't fixed.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

The document literally says why - to prevent repetition of the TTC stations mostly. Hurontario has very few conflicts in that regard. While the neighourhood isn't the best solution, it does prevent every stop from being "Finch and X" which they probably wanted to avoid for being too wordy. And...

    Brampton Transit/Zum

I do find that the Go buses at that time of day are often a few minutes early of the scheduled time (weeknight buses arrive at Bramalea City Centre scheduled for :03, but I can often make connections to Brampton buses that leave on the hour) , so it's more like you just missed a connection...

    Brampton Transit/Zum

I'm glad they're always improving the connections - I always grab the earlier bus that arrives before my connecting train in the few instances I need a Go train myself. But I've often seen a Brampton bus arrive just as the train is ready to depart. I wish they would coordinate Go bus...

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

They messed up when they reconfigured the lanes between Steeles and Queen. Before, the Steeles EB on ramp continued on and exited at Clark. Now both on ramps from Steeles end as you head up the bridge and then the outer lane exits at Clark and then the outer lane exits at Queen. That's multiple...

    Interlined Transfers

Pentagon and Rosslyn stations in DC have something similar but not the same. That's probably what you're thinking of. Both stations are just before two lines diverge and one direction is on one floor, and the other direction is above it - primarily to allow the lines to diverge over each other...

    Interlined Transfers

Mostly on the Victoria line - it was built that way. At Stockwell, Oxford Circus, Euston and Finsbury Park. One platform is directly connected to the platform on another line.

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

Probably because Viva Orange has a really weird end point (Martin Grove weekdays, Pine Valley weekends) and BT wanted a logical end point for their own route (York formerly - now VMC) which resulted in some duplication, but not too much.

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

September? I think. I'm not sure where the bus turns around though. They probably didn't need a duplication of service anymore - a good majority of trips along the Zum were going to York directly anyways so they kept the express service and cut back just a bit to keep service along Highway 7.
