So, so sexy. Thanks for the pics, guys. Looks like they're also finishing up the brick of the podium... I wonder why they had to stop where they did last year.

Hmm. I don't think I have the energy for this debate. Maybe I'm just getting less tolerant as I age. I'll leave it there.

    The Toronto Teaser!

    It is indeed.

It's going to be quite interesting to watch this dramatic lobby come together.

On any trip to Church Street it would certainly seem that they are the only examples of the "community". I'm happy to hear and see that our "community" has now spread out and feels free enough to socialize openly in pretty much any other part of the city.

Remington's is/was definitely gross. How they manage to find the skankiest bottom-of-the-barrel guys is bewildering. Actually maybe "sad" is a more appropriate word for Remingtons. Visitors to Toronto have always complained about how low-end it is (especially compared to Montreal). And I...

    What Toronto street is this?

Horribly wrong. This is just so out of place here.

Is it the CityPlace sales office?

    The Toronto Teaser!

Exactly. Just a hundred or so metres east of here. And welcome to Urban Toronto, ahm! Here's an easy one: And there's still the matter of those two unsolved ones above.

It will be interesting to see how I adjust to having the kitchen essentially in the living room. It's nice to be able to keep dirty dishes/pots/counters out of sight in another room while entertaining. Along with the newsletter that Cresford sent out yesterday they have supplied each owner with...

Looks like they've finally taken down all of that crazy scaffolding in the lobby area.

Not sure if the exact finishes pictured are still available, but I do recall it would have cost something like $20,000 extra in upgrades for this kitchen.

Thanks for the pics dventura. In the model suite, the stove/oven was mini-sized so that's probably why some of the counter space disappeared. (And the built-in fridge was also rather thin compared to a standard fridge). For comparison with the model suite:

There's just something so suburban about it for me. (In the same way that Malibu feels suburban.) Maybe if it were dark green glass all the way across rather than the smallish windows within the green cladding. I definitely prefer the east side of the model rather than the real thing.

Uh oh. I hope they're not really going to continue this treatment all the way up to the top of tower... What oh what has this beast become? For comparison's sake:

It's certainly not 100% precise, but here's a pic just for comparison's sake of building heights. Taken this morning pretty much directly from the west. I assume we need to take into account that Charles Street is a few feet lower than Bloor Street.

It's supposed to be shorter than CIBC but taller than The Bay. I've carefully counted... the raised forms are for the flooring of the 44th level. It's still not clear if there will be any missing floors for silly superstitious reasons, so how many more levels are left to pour is difficult...
