    Maybe the crane ooperator was told to stop the lift and the guy riding it was told to get off and leave the site for being an idiot. Can you imagine an inspector witnessing that, and the repercussions.

    I agree. If these towers are told to be chopped by 30 stories, i would hope Mirvish & Gehry tell them to blow smoke, we'll take them to a city that wants them. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. Toronto would then be looked upon in awe for all the wrong reasons.

    The newer design as reported by Hume in the Star, indicates the planning dept. wants these towers to be cut by at least 30 stories. We knew there would be some demands, but that is a bit much...

    More buildings like this and Telus etc. will thankfully make the boring green glass boxes fade away. As long as that fad isn't resurrected. The future construction south of the tracks will also hide some of it.
