From today... sorry for the reflection, it couldn't be helped. Does anyone know what those individual pits are for?

    Toronto Casa | 147.52m | 46s | Cresford | a—A

I agree... Though it's one of my favorite condos, but it is what it is... nothing to make you say "wow, great design".

    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

From my vantage point (north west corner) I can see that they've started digging again today (August 15th). At this point I'm gonna place a bet that Chaz reaches bottom with crane up before this site does. Any takers?

I understand not everyone has the same tastes in terms of design / structures and what not, but why would you wish for something to be canceled? Something like that has an economical impact beyond the structure not being built.

Look what I found. Taken in Sept. 23.1994. The Yonge train heading north. Directly under what is now 33 Bloor East. Photo by Jeremy Gilbert - 1994

^^^ I agree... that would just be silly. And (IMO) ruin the whole re cladding.

^^^ Toronto doesn't have any major "black people" events. If you're referring to events that are more grassroots and considerably smaller then there are a few (e.g. Natural Hair Expo). Maybe then it would be feasible to call it a "black people event", but I doubt the promoters be happy with...

okay... some may be offended at the wording though. And I'd argue that there are no events in Toronto specifically for "black people".

Can someone tell me which event is the "black people event"...? I'd like to go so I can show my support for the "black people".

Yonge n Bloor is a fantastic corner for an Apple store. Guaranteed they'll do a fantastic design which will preserve the original structure. There's definitely a need for an additional Apple store in the downtown area and I'm certainly looking forward to this.

great points... as a fellow "gay guy" I agree, especially about going out in the ED. Although in Miami this sort of thing worked (having most of the clubs in one area), but then again that's a different city.

    Toronto Ryerson Student Learning Centre | 50.59m | 8s | Ryerson University | Zeidler

Looking forward to this. Will there be a north entrance to the Dundas subway station?

Uhg... hopefully not! I agree though, with better foresight this could have been a great destination. Now it'll be defunct for several years at least.
