Further context.
Here are two shots of Agincourt from last week.Had a look at Agincourt and Millikan stations today and very limit in getting shots.
Agincourt east platform is pour with framing up over it. Stairs and elevator close off or enclose at about 75%. Still putting up sound barrier wall at the south end.
Only can gain access the the west temp platform from the south as the north end close and starting to work on the new platform now the old station is gone.
Edge material base being install for the roof framing.
Most of the south retaining wall completed for Steeles underpass with some sidewalk pour.
Only a small section of earth to be remove by the north support for the RR track to get thing read to start forming and pouring the retaining wall for the westbound lanes and sidewalk. There will be enough room to put in 4 lanes until the north side is done to have the new road connect to each end existing road.
Ya that would most likely be because most of the stuff in those was removed and contracted out separately outside of the packages.Latest IO market update https://www.infrastructureontario.ca/uploadedFiles/_CONTENT/News/2_Market_Update/IO_April 2021 Pipeline Chart.pdf
It appears that compared to the December 2020 update that the Lakeshore East Central and Lakeshore West projects have seen timelines slip and budgets dropped.
They look great! Hopefully the Bowmanville Extension moves forward soon. It’s a great project and it’s always exciting to see new GO stations. The designs really remind me of the new Bramalea station. Not sure how old these renderings are or if they have been posted on here already but I think we have our first few renderings of the Bowmanville extension stations at Courtice and Bowmanville. Could not find renderings for the other stations.

CN may pull the same stunt when GO completed the EA for adding a 2nd track in place of the current single track back in the early 2000's by adding a 3rd track in the the corridor when construction started. Only Brampton Station and the Georgetown area remain 2 tracks through the Georgetown Bridge was built of 3 tracks with only the 2nd track going in. Easy to add a 4 track to that bridge. At no time was there any indication a 3rd track was in the works during the EA.^ that's a good question. The only information available is from that link. As has been discussed here before, previous documentation indicated that a third track will go on the south side of the existing track and the existing platform on the South side would become an island platform. Of course, if CN wants a fourth track that might necessitate the moving of the station slightly to the north.
The budget spoke about future phases for investment in the Kitchener Line so maybe there will be news this year.
