Small construction update for the Tara Ave station: they have started forming concrete, put in platform lights, and channeled out the footpath connection. They were also doing concrete pours this morning to widen the base for the busway.

With this one, it should be pretty easy to bike most of the meadoway using bike share. Very exciting!

There is, it’s just not… good. It doesn’t have the painted bike symbols or the signs indicating that it’s a bike lane, so some people might consider it just a shoulder, though the city has installed bike route wayfinding signage along it. See: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=4006507659562656

Update: the segment from Marcos to midland is open, but the part that dead-ends west of midland is still yet to be paved:

The new segment from Marcos to west of midland appears to be open now (or at least the two entrances from Marcos are) - will check it out on my way back from work

Curious if anyone knows more about the work that's been going on on the old RT line in the last couple of months (at least from Kennedy/Eglinton to Lawrence, not sure about the other parts of the corridor). Is this something new or just prep work that was approved before after the derailment...
