How many more floors till it starts tapering? It's crazy to think how large this will be looking at the renders and realizing how small the podium is compared to the rest

Imo i think they'll be very nice. I think more gold, less glass would be nice and maybe more interesting architectual massing but i rather this then some painted balcony gimmick seen on phase 1 to try make the building seem less bulky and straight out of a 5 yr olds minecraft server.

Man a 50 meter spire Would just complete the look, and get us into the 400s

Kitchener is getting a real Skyline. From work yesterday.

Didnt even realize it was brick in the front, the renders made it look much to dark. Waiting for the finished product, but clearly it will fit into the neighborhood really well

Im no expert but the money spent on these stupid micro parks could be gathered to build a nice landmark park in downtown *ahem* RAILDECK *ahem* but theres no money for Beauty just useless landscaped street corners

The One definitely is a handsome building similar to the office towers of chicago. If only that was by the waterfront so our skyline pics were a little rosier

I would dispute that claim. Look at 2 queen West, a massive improvement. If they can do a reno like there this could be a upgrade 🙏

McLennan park offers a pretty good view. If you also drive in from Guelph on highway 7 you can see the skyline as well.

To me it looks quite nice, as it really builds the skyline to have 1 or 2 brightly lit buildings on the skyline. I think hong kong is excessive, but this looks pretty good.

until (God forbid) the Dominion building redevelopment ruins the view. :(
