For some, this high profile fountain at University & Queen has come to symbolize the health of the city. Broken fountain, broken city. I talked to a maintenance worker near there and she said the fountain is shut down because it's leaking into the subway and it's going to cost big bucks to fix it.

Couldn't they at least tile it or plant it or something? I agree with you, it is telling that this is acceptable? Great pics btw. I always enjoy viewing!
