Work on the re-cladding of First Canadian Place continues as seen in today's Photo Of The Day. Taken by UrbanToronto forum member drum118, the photo shows that more than half of the massive office tower is now done.
The re-cladding to glass from stone was due to the stone having the tendency to fall off. The new glass will also show off a much cleaner tower. Look at the bottom, that stone used to be as white as the glass above. First Canadian Place, at 72 storeys is the largest and tallest building in Canada. It is owned by Brookfield Properties.
