Thx YYZer, taken from my balcony at iLoft. I'm more than happy to snap a few pics of the stuff in the neighborhood.

AMB, nice pics! I can't wait til I move onto Marine Parade, though it will be 2017 before I do! Loving that view! You're facing East and South? I think I'll be having a similar frontage.

From Marine Parade Dr:

The Podium . . . . if you look close you can see they've already done some landscaping

I think the distinction between the blue and green glass is pretty clear at this point.

Has there been any update on what retail/restaurants is moving into this project?
I heard mention of a grocery store, though the space isn't quite big enough. So maybe a niche style like Fresh and Wild or Brunos?
Here's a new pic of the area I snapped from the plane on the way home. It's shot at 300mm through a crappy airplane plastic window on a cloudy day, so forgive the image quality :p

The retail consists of approx 17,000sq feet of sales area so it could fit a smaller grocery store. When I inquired a few months ago they're were still searching for tenants to fill the space

I drove by yesterday and it had a CBRE realty sign in the window but when I searched the website I couldn't find a listing

The mix of colours on this tower is awful. (e.g. the weak grey which clashes with the weaker blue and green colours). It actually is one of my least favourite towers (because of its general shape and the design of its podium as well as tower) to go up in this city in the last decade. Blech.

First project I have seen a Johnny on the job every 4th floor on the balcony.

What a pot-bellied, spandrel-covered disaster. And to think someone entrusted this firm to design the largest residential building in Canadian history. Pitiful.
