I think someone made a bad call with the use of white spandrel panel within the window system on the Camden St elevation. The rhythm of the white precast that was so carefully set up gets muddled by the sub-rhythm of the matchy-matchy white glass.

I agree! They should have stuck with glass or a very dark spandrel.
 
I agree too. It distracts from the nicely designed precast south facade.
However, the glass doesn't look like it is tinted much, if at all, so I'm sure the white window coverings will make it look even worse.
It's still a nice building.
 
3 November 2012: Really wish the original design had been built, as you can really see the cost-cutting they went through to get this built.

At least we've got Sorbara's next downtown(ish) to look forward to. Sounds like they've hired the right team this time...;)
 
A nice chunky midrise with a handsome facade. I love King West for these buildings.
