    Had a question wondering if someone else came across. I sent in my 30 day form a while ago and have since had a problem with my window. Do I need to wait until the 1 yr form or is there an interim way to report a problem.

    How do they forget about that? They do everything in spurts. Next time Oakdale kitchens (pretty sure thats the company) is in the building doing installations they will do it. Unfortunately they do not call trades in to fix problems on the PDI forms.

    They know what other banks are offering. Don't go with something unrealistic I got offered a bit better than 3.50 at another FI but I also work for them. Flaco7, did you actually get an approval for 3.44 or are you saying thats your negotiation tactic

    You can start the process but cannot have it 'all set up' until you know the actual closing date. The bank will send the mortgage information to the lawyer once the file is complete (after a closing date is known). Having an approval by another FI is a good idea but were kind of at a standstill...

    Collateral mortgages are not so bad, they are quite flexible. I would recommend on this basis alone. Speaking from experience with scotiabank. If you have a stand alone mortgage you are fixed to your original terms, amount etc. With a flexible lean, you can extend amortization, refi a lot easier.

    Mine also says 21.5 but it is quite warm in here. Give or take a degree i would say it is pretty accurate. If you want to turn the heat on, just set it for a few degrees more. That should do the trick.
