    Toronto Ripley's Aquarium of Canada | 13.11m | 2s | Ripley Entertainment | B+H

But then why built some mediocre aquarium? What's the point when there are better ones out there? I find that's the problem with Toronto. It has some good ideas, but then always ended up with mediocre outcomes. Metroplois/DundasSq/AMC/Toronto Life (do they even have a name for that...

OLG Toronto/GTA casino proposal (where to put it?)

You do realize with mentality like that, NOTHING gets built besides condos, condos, condos in Toronto right?

    Toronto Eaton Centre

Not working? You mean something's supposed to be working? So after they spent 2.5 millions on it, it's not working and they just leave it like that? Wow, my previous statement was too nice.

    Downtown Yonge

Yup. Services don't belong on Yonge street. How many Cash or Credit Union type of stores do we need? And now those banks are occupying which is just not cool. Another reason the City is doing shit about it. Things they should be doing, they are not. Yet wasting on so much time on other...

Toronto non-mall retail (Odds & Ends)

By the way, is there a thread about World's Biggest Bookstore location? I wonder what to do with that big area. I bet, condos  I know the owner said no. But if a big corp throws in millions in front of them, I don't see why they'd say no.

OLG Toronto/GTA casino proposal (where to put it?)

How about start with you first when you said there are other possible solutions? BTW, I am talking about CNE AND Ontario Place, not just CNE. To me, the yearly EX is dead (or in life support). OP is already dead. It's a big area that requires some big project to make good use of that area...

OLG Toronto/GTA casino proposal (where to put it?)

That guy against it because maybe he didn't or is not getting the contract to build it? And agree with what you said. Why don't they ban alcohol, when there are alcoholic out there? Gambling addict is just lame excuse for not having one. It's the same shit same shit every time Toronto...

    Downtown Yonge

If the restaurants are decent, they will be fine. Look at Joey and 3 Brewers. Even crappy food Spring Rolls is doing good business. People LOVE patio, especially in the summer time, so I don't think they will have problem attracting people. I don't mind Starbuck as long as it has long...

    St Clair West

I think too many stops is not just St Clair's issue. It's an issue in all of GTA. Please tell me why do we need North side stop Finch, and South side stop Finch? Or North side stop Steele, and South side stop Steele. If people can't walk across the street, they should just stay home!

Toronto non-mall retail (Odds & Ends)

City needs to do something from Yonge/Wood to Yonge/Wellesly east side portion. Cheap and tacky is and understatement.

    Downtown Yonge

The banks could have the Gerrard side. They should not have occupied the two prime spots. Those spots belong to bars and restaurants!!! Imagine there are two/three Joey similar type of restaurants there, it will create a lot of traffic, especially during summer patio time. BB&B should have...

OLG Toronto/GTA casino proposal (where to put it?)

I hope this is just a crap shoot design, and it's not the real thing. I want something screams loud and wow! I want something similar to the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, damn it! And I 100% support a casino. ONLY if itès done right! Go big or go home! Seriously, the EX is dead...

    Toronto Ripley's Aquarium of Canada | 13.11m | 2s | Ripley Entertainment | B+H

Just look around downtown Toronto. Please don't tell me you will only consider the "same" if they are exactly the same. I consider 98% condos in downtown Toronto are the same except a few, such as Thomson and L Tower. Some "tried" to be different to have a little change here, a colour change...

    Downtown Yonge

I kind of hope that they will fail, so they can make them into smaller retail stores. And I think Yonge St. needs more restaurants!!! DECENT restaurants, not the knock-off restaurants. Marshall's not doing well is no surprise at all since I don't see them advertise at all, hardly anyone knows...

    Downtown Yonge

Speaking of that, I also hate that two big guns taking up 2 floors. Seriously, do they need that much space? I'd rather see mixed smaller retailers that will bring in more variety customers. I'm starting to hate those big stores, they are limiting my options! Just look at Victoria's Secrets...

Toronto non-mall retail (Odds & Ends)

Still, those retailers are not big companies. You are talking about moving costs, construction costs etc. For just a short period, I don't know if it's worth it at all... Anyway, so what are they doing now? Already working the underneath when nothing's happening on the ground?

    Toronto Ripley's Aquarium of Canada | 13.11m | 2s | Ripley Entertainment | B+H

Come on, if it's anything special or out of the "box", it will be in the news already, a la ROM. It's just too simple and boring that it's pretty much same as many other glass buildings, like we need more of the same old same old stuff.

    Toronto Ripley's Aquarium of Canada | 13.11m | 2s | Ripley Entertainment | B+H

Then it SHOULD make it looks like a whale, instead of boxy glasses. I mean, not square box, but still boxy.

    St Clair West

Too many stops and especially the stop is not before the traffic lights. That means you get two stops, then lights, then the stop. TOO TOO much. I just don't understand why they need the stop right before it goes inside the station. I mean, there's another stop at at the new condo already...
