So here is what I was talking about... This past weekend I went by the site to take some vids of the progress. As you can see from the picture, there is a sliding door on the top level of a P4 unit. No clue why they put this in and if it'll be removed. I'll be calling the builder again tomorrow...

Why would they install a sliding door with no balcony and a 9 foot drop to the patio below?

Has anyone noticed that the window in the ground floor units looks like a sliding door? Is it actually a sliding door? And if it is... I'm assuming that its temporary and will be replaced.

Passed by the site yesterday. The first two blocks off Wallace are pretty much completely bricked. They also started framing the interior walls in these two blocks. Bricking on the second row of blocks of Wallace has begun.

Has anyone approached Appliance Canada to upgrade their appliances? ...instead of going through the builder.

This is ridiculous! How can they charge some people one price and others another price for the same thing? We would of considered the stove upgrades with your pricing.

Wally - we had the same pricing for the packages as you did. Looks like crazy peaches was quoted just the difference in cost.... Then the builder thought hey why not just screw with people and charge them full price completely negating the fact that we already paid for the standard appliances...

Did you receive a letter to book the appointment or did they just call you? Also any idea as to which brand/model of appliances we can expect?

dropped off our last payment this weekend at the sales office. they are bringing in samples of all the finishes. expect to get an appointment soon to choose finishes.

Received letter from the builder asking for final payment due to roof assembly completion of first 4 blocks off wallace avenue. Still no appointment to pick finishes though.
