UTPro Q4 2024: GTHA Crane Count Stabilizing After Several Large DropsAs of January 1, 2025, there were 279 cranes on buildings across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, according to UrbanToronto's UTPro tracking of construction projects. While technically a seventh consecutive drop in the number of active cranes on construction projects in the region, it may be signalling a turnaround for the industry.
