Immediately east of where Exhibition GO station is being expanded to include new platforms for the Ontario Line 3 terminal station, the tunnel portal is currently packed with the lengthy Tunnel Boring Machines, the first of which has begun its journey eastward. Right after boring through the city's substrate, the machines' next job is to line the tunnel they have just created. The curved concrete pieces seen being hoisted here, will be fed forward to the front of the machines, completing a couple dozen metres of tunnel every day.
