Today's photo looks straight down at Toronto's Donald D. Summerville Outdoor Olympic Pool complex at Woodbine Beach. The unique above-ground structure is one that people often notice travelling on the curve that connects Lake Shore Boulevard East to Woodbine Ave, but it gives away few secrets from the road. From above like in this drone image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor hawc, we can see (from right to left) its 50 metre Olympic size pool, 25 metre training pool, and its diving pool — complete with concrete stands — and 5 and 10 metre diving platforms. During the summer, the complex opens at 10 AM and closes at 8 PM every day.
