Among the most sparkling elements on Toronto's skyline are the faceted gold walls of Royal Bank Plaza and the diamond-textured elevations of CIBC SQUARE. Both complexes stand out for both their high reflectivity and their lack of mirrored images on most surfaces, owing to all of the multi-angled planes they present to their surroundings: instead of mirrors, like in this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor skycandy, we get shine and shimmer that plays with light more than we get complete images bounced back to us.
