While most new buildings in Toronto eschew colour, there are a few bold enough to add it. Even as skies have been gray with regularity of late, and our deciduous trees are now similarly grayscale, Aqualuna, currently under construction beside Toronto Harbour, refuses to follow the seasonal trend by becoming more colourful as the year wears on, as evermore layers of warm orangey-brown panels are applied on successively higher floors on this Hines and Tridel condo. Designed by 3XN of Copenhagen and Toronto's Kirkor Architects Planners, Aqualuna is captured here by UrbanToronto Forum contributor flonicky.
