The edge of Toronto Harbour is in a state of transformation, its port functions having mostly ended in the area next to the Gardiner Expressway, now becoming places for people to live, like Aqualuna at Bayside, the two-peaked condo now rising against the sunset-sky. The expressway pictured in this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor globalexpress is in a state of flux too, currently slated to be replaced with a narrower structure, while a possibility remains that the plans will have it merge with a renewed Lake Shore Boulevard here, potentially completing the transformation from post-industrial landscape to vibrant new neighbourhood.
