At the end of October, the trees in Corktown Common in this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor NiceForWhat still provided a colourful foreground for the real show going on in behind; the gradual disassembly and demolition of the former Lever Brothers soap factory at Cadillac Fairview's East Harbour site, near the mouth of the Don River. While the leaves have since mostly come off the trees, so have various elements of the building also come down, in this case pieces of the venting being lowered to the ground by a mobile crane, its long arm extended while another section is attached for removal.
