In this drone image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor bangkok, we look north along Trafalgar Road in the quickly growing area of Oakville around Dundas Street. While more traditional development patterns have had tract subdivisions blending into farmland, today's planning blends in high-density high-rise developments side-by-side with rural areas as well. It's initially a stark contrast, but a sign of things to come, and a response to the ever-present need for more housing and decreasing amount of land we are willing to sacrifice to it.
