Coming to St Clair West and Old Weston Road in Toronto's West End, Diamond Kilmer Developments' Reunion Crossing is a mostly residential project designed by Giannone Petricone Associates consisting of an 11-storey condominium building fronting onto St Clair Avenue West and five 3-storey townhome blocks to the north of it.
Construction has been underway at the site since August of 2020, when a shoring rig appeared on the site. Since then, the mid-rise building has now topped off, while work on the townhomes is at varying stages.
Glazing is currently being applied to the mid-rise building, in addition to white powder-coated aluminum spandrel panels, creating a striped effect on top half of the building's facade. The upper portion of the building is to be exclusively clad in these panels and glazing, while the podium levels will have red brick applied in some areas, and charcoal-coloured powder-coated aluminum panels in others.
Although cladding has started, much is still to be done, with balcony guards yet to be installed, and some exterior wall cladding still left to be put in place on the upper levels.
The townhomes are at different phases of construction; some have just had their foundations formed....
....while others have above-ground framing work underway.
Upon completion, the mid-rise building will have 249 residential units with retail at its base, while the five blocks of townhomes will total 96 units.
Interiors are appointed by Patton Design Studio, while Janet Rosenberg & Studio are in charge of landscape design.
