Construction is moving along in a former industrial area of Toronto's borough of North York. Just north of the 401 and east of Allen Road, Collecdev is producing a collection of medium-density residential developments. The gh3-designed Tretti Condos is one of these projects, which was recently photographed during the of forming its eleventh level, and nearing the end of its forming progress while inching closer to its final height of 13 storeys and 45.11 metres.
Another of Collecdev's buildings on the site is Tippett Park Phase 2, south of the already completed Tippett Park Phase 1, an affordable rental building to be managed by Shiplake. The 14-storey, second phase rental building has now risen into the air on the west side of the site, reaching its final height.
Cladding and glazing installation are beginning to enclose the exteriors of both buildings. A view of Tretti Condos (above) shows alternating black and grey cladding beginning to reveal the complex's exterior design details. Operational windows are also visible between the cladding panels.
On the Trippett Park Phase 2 building, above, balcony guards have begun to be installed on lower levels, adding depth to the flatiron-shaped structure. This will continue over the coming weeks, as windows have already been installed all the way up to the top level of the building. To the right, the neighbouring Express Condominiums on the Subway by Malibu Investments can also be seen under construction.
Upon completion, Tretti Condos will be home to 340 condo units.
