The gradual rollout of details about Madison Group and Westdale PropertiesThe Capitol Residences has been teasing potential purchasers for months. Renderings of the 14-storey, Turner Fleischer Architects and Hariri Pontarini Architects-designed development at Yonge and Castlefield have been released at a rate of one a month lately, slowly revealing more of the building, having started with the restored heritage exterior walls of the 1918-built Capitol Theatre, its marquee, and canopy over the Yonge Street sidewalk.

Most recently, we got a taste of the building's Studio Munge-appointed spaces through a sneak peek inside the building's porte-cochère, and now we're getting our first look at Munge's design for one of the project's amenity spaces: the celebrity lifestyle theme of the development was already evident in the porte-cochère rendering, now developed in more detail in the newly released image of a parlour and multipurpose golf simulator room.

With the golf simulator taking centre stage, the room is accessorized with a built-in velvet banquette, botanical patterned cushions, marble-clad wet bar, and brass accents. A verdant feel dominates this space, with an emerald green across walls with alternating high-gloss lacquer and suede upholstery, while the carpeting/golfing surface is a low-pile shag in dark forest green.

The Capitol Residences is set to bring 145 one, two, and three-bedroom residences to Midtown Toronto. More amenities are set to be revealed in the future, with the building planned to host amenity spaces on levels two and three (187 m² and 66 m² of space respectively), as well as a mix of spaces on the 10th floor including a 157 m² indoor amenity space connected to an outdoor terrace 255 m² in area.
