To the northwest of The Junction neighbourhood in Toronto, the former Ontario Stockyards lands have been gradually redeveloped since the majority of the meatpacking in the area ceased in 1993. While much of the area's St Clair Avenue frontage has seen low-rise redevelopment since, changing land-use trends and planning policies are now bringing higher density developments in the area, with one such example now taking shape at 2306 St Clair West. Marlin Spring and Greybrook Capital's Stockyards District Residences has been under construction since mid-2019, and approaching two years later, the mid-rise building is now reaching its final height.

The 10-storey, Graziani and Corazza-designed condominium development kicked off construction with an August, 2019 ground breaking ceremony, carried out as shoring rigs were already drilling away around the site's perimeter. Excavation bottomed out later that year, and a pair of cranes were in place by the end of November to begin forming the building's underground levels. Work would reach a major milestone in mid-2020, with the start of forming for the ground floor. Forming has since advanced the full ten storeys plus mechanical penthouse, with the building now topping out at a height of 35.66 metres as the mechanical penthouse roof is being formed.

Another recent development has been the start of exterior cladding installation. Red brick panels began to appear along the ground floor back in March, and have since risen as high as the fourth floor. Stacks of glazing panels can now be seen stacked-up mid-way up the building, indicating that window installation will soon begin.

The building will bring 236 condominium units to the area upon completion.
