1. Canada's First Supertall 'The One' Shooting to be Supertaller
January was a big month for tall building news, with the top story going to news of The One seeking approval for a height increase that would make the building Canada's tallest. In the #2 spot, a construction update on Mississauga's new tallest buildings generated plenty of attention. Also covered in January's top ten, plans have been revised for another "supertall" development, the Mirvish+Gehry Toronto project.

Our top three projects of the month have all remained at the top for several months now. January's results are once again unchanged from October, November, and December. The two tallest buildings now under construction, The One and Pinnacle One Yonge, once again claimed the #1 and #2 spots. As the largest individual construction site in Toronto, The Well remains at #3.

Our Top Ten Threads
1. The One
The One took the #1 spot in all three categories for January as it also claimed the title of most popular Forum thread. In second place, the thread for CIBC SQUARE remains hot as construction wraps up on the first tower and shifts to the second tower, while the thread for Pinnacle One Yonge builds steam in third place as the complex's supertall phase gets underway.
