The last year has changed the way we do many things in Toronto, including the way condominiums are sold. Launches now take place in the virtual world, still bringing buzz to new projects, but now respecting the new public health guidelines. This week, CentreCourt and Bazis are gearing up for the launch of 8 Wellesley Residences at Yonge, celebrating its opening to purchasers this Thursday, February 18th at 7 PM.

The RSVP-only event marks the first major condominium launch of 2021. Set to feature special guest and Toronto sports and culture icon Masai Ujiri, the online event will offer up the first chance to claim units in the 55-storey, IBI Group-designed condo tower, which is offering almost 600 units in a range of layouts, priced starting from the low $500s.

In the lead up to this week's launch, new marketing material has been released that offers new details of the building's approximately 21,000 ft² of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces. Among these planned spaces appointed by interior designers Figure3 are a Fendi-furnished lobby, a 6,300 ft² fitness centre, a co-working space, and an indoor/outdoor lounge…

…while details of the suites themselves have also been released, including renderings that depict the interior finish package options.

The completed development is set to place residents in the midst of Yonge Street's most lively stretch, steps from Wellesley subway station, or a short walk to Yorkville or the growing campuses of Ryerson and the University of Toronto.

To attend the virtual launch, you must RSVP at this link.
