A recently-approved plan to build an eight-storey luxury condominium development at 1414 Bayview Avenue, just south of Millwood Road in Toronto's Leaside neighbourhood, is now in sales following a launch at the start of June. Designed by Peter Clewes of architectsAlliance for Gairloch Developments, the mid-rise building's marketing is focusing heavily on the project's clean, linear design, with the latest set of renderings underscoring the proposed palette of warm exterior materials and the prominent west-facing terraces that will offer residents a piece of the outdoors.

The building calls for a total of 44 one, two, and three-bedroom suites ranging in size from 459 to 2,125 ft², and priced starting from $650K, $995K, and $1.95m respectively. These suites include 9' and 10' ceilings in principal rooms, hardwood flooring, kitchens with custom-designed Trevisano kitchen cabinetry and integrated Miele stainless steel appliances including gas cooktops, and several more luxury features.

Residents of 1414 Bayview would have access to a mix of common and amenity spaces outfitted by interior designers Sixteen Degree Studio Inc., starting with basics like an on-site concierge and visitor parking. Residential amenities will include a multi-purpose lounge/library space for reading, studying, and meetings, will also function as a co-working space with a small kitchen. In addition to the generous private terraces attached to many of the units, an outdoor lounge terrace will also be found in the mix.

“At Gairloch, design and design-forward thinking are fundamental in the creation of our projects,” reads a statement from Bill Gairdner, President of Gairloch Developments. “This connection extends to our partners who demonstrate the same affinity for design found in all our work. 1414 Bayview will blend seamlessly into the neighbourhood, while creating a distinguished silhouette along one of Toronto’s prime streets.”
