The wheels are in motion for 123 Portland Street from Minto Communities GTA, with site clearing now wrapping up at Portland and Adelaide in Downtown Toronto. As the site gears up for the start of construction of the 16-storey, Sweeny &Co Architects-designed luxury condominium development, a new rendering is helping to sell the idea of life there.
Adding to the gallery of renderings showing off both the building's formal exterior design and its U31-appointed amenities, a new view has been released of the building's rooftop terrace, wrapping around its textural mechanical penthouse. An earlier rendering of the terrace provides a closer look. Set to offer residents a mix of sheltered and open spaces featuring ample seating, greenery, and views of the surrounding city. It will also provide places to barbecue and dine al fresco.
The landscaped outdoor amenity shares the space with green roof sections that conform to Toronto Green Standards. In total, the terrace will comprise 70% of the 362 m² roof.
The site's ongoing site prep work is paving the way for the imminent start of construction. Once construction wraps up, the building will introduce 117 new condominium units to the Fashion District.
