A view across Mississauga City Centre, this one from the M City area, to the Exchange District towers — one pink-topped, one yellow-topped, one still growing — and further to the northeast to the svelte Absolute World towers, makes for possibly the most impressive suburban showcase in all of North America. While there are plenty of could-be-anywhere buildings here, the standouts beg the question whether Mississauga overall can rise to the challenge the best of the architecture here asks it to.
