22 months after the January, 2018 start of construction for CentreCourt's ZEN King West, the 31-storey, IBI Group-designed condominium tower is rising tall at the eastern end of Toronto's Liberty Village neighbourhood. Just over two months since our last update on the project, the tower has risen much taller as cladding installation gradually encloses the lower levels of the building from the elements.

When we last checked in at the end of August, crews were forming the tower's 14th and 15th floors. An additional ten levels have been formed in the two months since, with concrete now reaching as high as the 24th floor. At the current rate of forming, the tower's last residential floor should be finished before the end of the year, with its mechanical penthouse just to finish up after that.

Cladding installation has been progressing at approximately the same rate of forming over the last couple of months. At the end of August, the tower's cladding—a window wall system consisting of floor-to-ceiling reflective vision glazing and dark spandrel panels framed in black aluminum—stretched to the 6th floor. Cladding now stretches to the 15th level, enclosing almost half of the building.

Upon completion in 2020, the project will bring 481 new condominium units and a new shop to the Liberty Village area.
