Construction continues to progress at a fast rate on CentreCourt's ZEN King West project located at the east end of Toronto's Liberty Village neighbourhood. When we last checked in on the IBI Group-designed 32 storey condo building back in January, construction had just wrapped up on the shoring, excavation and forming of the seven underground levels set to house 228 parking spots for the development.

Fast forward five months, and the tower has not only reached grade but initial work has been completed on the 3-storey podium as well as the first two tower floors above. With CentreCourt known to provide quick and reliable construction we should begin to see exterior cladding materialize over the next few months as the building continues to rise. The 481-unit building is set to house an array of amenities such as a 5,000 ft² fitness facility with an outdoor running track known as the “sky track” lining the 5th floor terrace above the podium.

In photos captured both this week and back in January, rapid progress can be seen as the tower quickly rises and is soon to assume its position in the growing western skyline of Toronto.

The project, set to rise 93 metres will be anchored to the sidewalk with an iQ Foods, a health conscious, fast casual dining concept with other locations spread across the city. With an anticipated completion date of 2021, we will continue to check in on this project as it progresses towards completion.
