Our annual Growth to Watch For series is back for another year, bigger, taller, and more comprehensive than ever before. Over the course of the year, we're bringing you to every significant development happening across the 416 and beyond into the Greater Toronto Area. We're covering everything from brand new proposals, to those inching their way through the planning process, to those already under construction or about to be completed.
A total of 25 reports will be available to subscribers throughout the year, with seven released so far. (Details about how to get them can be found at the bottom of this article.) For a taste of what's offered in the eighth report, here's a sneak peek at the area highlighted.

This edition of our Growth to Watch For series picks up where our previous report left off, weaving through a 60 km² area of the former Toronto borough of North York with an overview of all activities happening from just north of Highway 401 and west of Yonge Street, all the way to Highway 400.
A range of project types are included in the area, ranging from townhomes to tall buildings, as well as wider neighbourhood plans that promise more extensive redevelopment. The intensification of Tower-in-the-Park sites is the source of many development proposals in the area.
One notable pocket of density emerging in the area covered is a stretch of Wilson Avenue just east of Wilson subway station. This area is home to under-construction projects like Rocket Condos, projects in their marketing stage like Tretti Condos, and other projects either in the midst of, or recently completed, the planning and approvals process, like 470 Wilson Avenue.
Among the larger projects planned in the area, a rental housing complex at 325 Bogert Ave is planned to be redeveloped into a multi-tower residential complex with buildings as high as 27 storeys, set to house 1,386 units between them. Another significant plan for the area is known as the Allen District, a 54-acre plot of land along Allen Road set to eventually house thousands of new residences and mix of building typologies and uses.
New Growth to Watch For 2019 reports are being released on an ongoing basis, each covering a different section of the Greater Toronto Area. The series' upcoming ninth report will move east, covering the various changes taking place in the heart of North York Centre and Willowdale.
