At the corner of Yonge and Sheppard in North York, a major project is looking great, well before the completion of the final phase. Hullmark Centre, the Tridel and Hullmark joint development, will soon become a premier destination in North York, with two striking towers and sweeping podium, containing reseidences, a world class business centre, and a hub for retail, in a great location. It's hard to believe it was over a decade ago when the Sheppard subway line first opened. Since then this area turned from a regular intersection to a major transit and condominium hub, and Hullmark Centre is right in the middle of it.

As mentioned above, the Hullmark Centre features three portions. The condominiums will be located in both the south tower and north tower, with the latter featuring condos in the top portion over the Hullmark Corporate Centre. The office portion will be in the north tower's first ten floors and the podium. It's all connected to the retail portion at ground level. The centre will include a Whole Foods flagship location along with a variety of different shops and vendors. The centre has direct indoor access to the Yonge Sheppard subway station.

The south tower has reached its final height and its interiors are now being finished. The north tower still has over 20 more floors to go before it tops out at 49 storeys: it will be North York's tallest building. The entire project is expected to be complete in 2014.

Even before being finished, the Hullmark Centre has been receiving great feedback from lots of UrbanToronto's commenters.
