The Thompson Residences building does not look yet like the bold modern condominium block that it promises to be: the bold Saucier + Perrotte design of staggered protrusions and recesses currently awaits many more months of construction to lift the building beyond ground level where construction has now arrived. Every building starts off at this rugged, messy point of course. Soon enough though, the Thompson Residences will rise to their full, 15-storey modern glory on King just east of Bathurst.

Construction crews have created the foundation and garage, and a portion of the first floor columns now rise at the west end of the site.

This Freed Developments project is a hotel-inspired living experience, with many amenities aimed at bringing residents a luxurious, modern lifestyle. Minimalism with a twist is the style, while the sleek roof terrace swimming pool with a bar is the lifestyle.
