In Midtown Toronto, about a dozen single-family homes quietly sat at the southeast corner of Redpath and Roehampton Avenues for years, long after being surrounded by high-rises which had replaced all of their neighbours over the last decades. Now, in just a few years, the transition of this neighbourhood to high-rise will be all but complete with the coming of 155 Redpath Condos.
The location is perfect for those who want to reside in the heart of Midtown Toronto, the 35-storey structure follows the trend of intensified development along the Eglinton corridor. A few short blocks away from shopping and restaurants on Eglinton, Yonge, and Mount Pleasant, and quick trips north and south via Eglinton subway station, 155 Redpath will also be a short walk to the future Mount Pleasant Crosstown line station, residents here will enjoy the improved access to neighbouring areas to the east and west.
155 Redpath adds to the several developments that are being developed in the Yonge & Eglinton area, including projects such as Neon Condos, The Madison, and The Berwick. E Condos is another which is expected to start soon.
Designed by architectsAlliance with interiors by rising star Johnson Chou, 155 Redpath is being developed by Freed Developments and CD Capital, and built by Broccolini. The tower will feature 470 units across 35 floors, ranging from 377 square foot studio apartments, to 1500 square foot two bedrooms and penthouses.
Amenities at 155 Redpath will include an outdoor infinity pool on the ninth floor, similar to the Thompson Hotel at Freed's 550 Wellington development. The deck will also include a hot tub, poolside cabana lounge, a large gas fire pit, and an outdoor dining area. Located steps away from the pool are saunas and changing rooms inside the building. Moving down a few floors, the Redpath will also house a multi-level fitness centre and an indoor/outdoor yoga facility. Landscape here is the creation of NAK Design Strategies.
The project is now in its sales phase, and is targeted for completion in 2016. To learn more about 155 Redpath, visit our dataBase page, linked below. Want to get in on the conversation? Check out the associated Forum threads, or leave a comment in the space provided on this page.
