We recently caught up with construction at One Park Place, The Daniels Corporation's latest condominium project in Regent Park, but there's more to talk about what's still to come here. Some of the more interesting aspects of the development, designed by Hariri Pontarini architects, are the amenities which it provides. Titled Club Uno, these areas will encompass over 45,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space that reflect the company's long-standing dedication to building a community. As well as a number of luxuriously appointed spaces meant for entertaining, recreation, and socializing, Daniels is also offering some more elemental amenities here too.
We'll start by examing the common spaces that will be available to the residents on the project's extensive podium roof. Here, The Daniels Corporation's commitment to the environment is evident beyond a project being designed to achieve LEED Gold certification; in this area of the roof Daniels is making a return to the land a possibility even in the midst of the city, allowing One Park Place's residents to engage in urban farming through dedicated gardening plots on the fifth floor. The plots will mean that people moving from houses won't have to give up enjoying summertime fresh salad ingredients grown in their own gardens.
One floor below the gardening plots are the indoor amenities, and both the yoga/pilates studio in the workout area and the lounge and dining spaces in the entertaining areas open to outdoor terraces on the extensively greened deck. It's loaded up with facilities for all sorts of activities, allowing residents to enjoy everything from barbecued meals to exercise to relaxing with friends.
Back inside, those looking to get active will find besides the weight room, yoga and cardio areas, a half court basketball gym and squash courts.
The amenities mean that the residents' need to participate in life beyond the walls of their own units can be more than satisfied. Inside and out One Park Place is designed to tread lightly on the environment, build community, and promote the well being of the residents.
