West Don Lands

Taken 18 April. I’m at the point that if I don’t have a hazelnut bostock in the morning before work I get really sad! 😔 🤣🤔

Just wanted to put this out there as an observation after having worked here for 6 months: Canary District is getting really camp! To the point of bursting out as the new Church/Wellesley. And it is due to a big increase of upper/middle-class gay professionals who have immigrated and want a higher sense of security.

New railings to protect street trees/plantings on The Jubilee Promenade. Taken 1 January.
Interesting. To protect the trees from sidewalk salt, or dogs, or both? I don't mind the little railings, though they do look a bit bare-bones in the harshness of winter. I would love to see them painted black but that would probably be futile.

One of several new businesses. 8 April.

I saw this the other day: is it open yet? I searched online and determined that it seems like an output of this chain, which started in South Korea and spread to Canada starting in 2018. They have tons of locations. Personally I find it confusing to name your business "bbq chicken" when you sell fried chicken, but what do I know. I hope they succeed at this location.
