Uxbridge Provincial Park

Lake Simcoe Conservation Authority also owns a lot more land in the area too which I imagine the province will be targeting - Durham Region Forest is on the east side of Concession 7 and is around 1,000 acres alone.

I believe the Town itself also owns some land - probably another couple hundred acres, that wouldn't surprise me if it worked it's way into the park.

There is a longstanding quarry in the middle of most of the lands which is approaching end-of-life as well from my understanding, with much of it already being re-naturalized. Certainly lots of opportunity in the area.

Between these lands shown above, additional lands that will likely be added to the Provincial Park and the Rouge National Urban Park, there will be quite the significant green space in a general triangle from the mouth of the Rouge river on the Toronto/Pickering border, opening wide along the Toronto/York Region border with Durham.
