Starting on Sunday, March 30, 2025, 510/310 Spadina streetcars will return to the route and 510/310 Spadina replacement bus service will end.​
All streetcars will operate as the 510A (Spadina Station to Union Station). 510B streetcars (Spadina Station to Queens Quay) will continue to be suspended.​

NEW – Effective Sunday, March 30, 2025, 509 Harbourfront streetcars will no longer operate between Union Station and Queens Quay and Spadina Avenue. Customers can use 510A Spadina streetcars instead which will operate between Union Station and Spadina Station. Service will be increased on 510A Spadina streetcar service to accommodate customers.

Music to my ears! I found the buses irritating.
 
2 pm on a weekday and the platform at Union is so crowded that people are waiting for the train all the way up the stairs. No train for five minutes and counting, but no delay announced. Tell me again about how the crowding is due to the great service being provided.

Which train? I just looked at the GO Tracker map of all the lines, and the longest current delay I could see anywhere was about 2 minutes - on an outbound Kitchener train at Malton.

Union can be a disaster though, as soon as something goes wrong, or a Lakeshore train gets dropped on a track with only one platform.

(though it wouldn't show a completely missing train - but I don't see anything on the station screens either)

Pretty sure he’s talking about Line1 Union and nothing to do with the GO

If we eliminated all the posts pointing out the willful incompetence by city staff, then there'd be little left here. I personally didn't know that the city had screwed up again on this issue - but when hasn't the city screwed up on priority signals?

Ouch, that's a critical intersection. King and Kingston Road cars would have to detour on Queen all the way to Spadina (well, I'd guess the 503 will be a 502 going to McCaul loop.

It's a shame they didn't connect the new York track to King. Or have tracks on Victoria Street south of Adelaide. I wonder if eastbound Adelaide is available now from Spadina to Church?

Will it? It sounds like temporary buses to me, from the description. Though I suppose the 504A could go up Spadina, and then loop around Queen/Richmond or Richmond/Adelaide. And yes, the 503 (aka 502).
