^They always give unnecessarily long run times for bustitutions. The same thing has happened with the 501, and 504 as well in the recent past.
The 503 is given time to divert around the intersection closure around Kingston Rd/Queen. The intersection has reopened thus all the buses will arrive 10 min earlier than usual. Until the next service change in 2 weeks, this will be a common scene.
The problem is made worst as TTC is implementing no short turn policy by adding excessive time to 90% of all trips so most trips will not short turn.

Unusually thin agenda; RGS should be coming to the December meeting.
I stop going to TTC meeting over 2 years ago since most meetings had no meat on the bone and over under 2 hours and this is one of those meetings.Maybe they can play catch-up with some items that were placed on the back-burner. Such as The Queensway right-of-way construction between Parkside Drive and Roncesvalles? That one has been deferred and deferred and deferred for many years now.
The ads for Vype e-cig all over Union TTC station will be removed on November 17.
"Please note that three priority seats located at the back of TTC low-floor streetcars are being temporarily removed as the back cars experience more tail movement, which may pose a safety concern for those who require priority seating. We encourage customers seeking priority seating to use the seats located at the front of these vehicles. "
Interesting: http://www.ttc.ca/Riding_the_TTC/Frequently_Asked_Questions/Priority_Seating_FAQ1.jsp
My favourite seat is the one at the back facing rear right behind the 4th door. It's nice and wide. Too narrow to be two seats, so it's just a nice fat seat.
The extra-wide seat is excellent for those with BMI exceeding 30, a parent with a small child, or someone with many bags (and/or large equipment).I call it the "Rob Ford" seat. Course, he never used it.
