Fall election will be fun if they manage to keep the strike threats going for a few more months. I imagine a few candidates will use that wildcat strike as a reason for privitization during their campaign.

If he keeps this up he is going to get the TTC designated an essential service. Which, for the union, would be incredibly stupid to do.

For the union, yes, for the members, no. Being designated an essential service will lead to quite substantial pay increases.
