TTC faces driver dilemma as ridership rockets

Oh, so instead of along Eglinton, you'd have elevated subways along residential streets in Forest Hill. That'll be popular!

No, no! You guys are being bitterly cynical. I said west of Keele and east of Leslie, it's right there in plain English. If the line were elevated anywhere in Forest Hill it probably right at Bathurst since the grade's so sharp there it'd have to emerge (think: Keele or Old Mill). The Old Forest Hill Rd bridge would have to be annexed for the sake of the platform, but otherside it'd be underground.

and Forest Hill would support a subway to the heliopause before they support one adjacent to Eglinton (or a monorail that goes over their roofs).

Yeah lets sacrifice the massive potential of an Eglinton Line, that'd primarily be underground through their diminutive patch of T.O., for eyesore qualms :rolleyes ! Technically Glencairn was built to serve Forest Hill as well, it's not like subways through there is a foreign concept.

Yes, but what if the monorail were decorated like the Moscow subway? Wouldn't that please the critics?

You just had to bring that up didn't you >: !?!
