I'm curious how many students they will actually have there next week. They had only recruited a few hundred first years through OUAC to programs based there as of 3rd June. Maybe they can bump up those numbers a bit with current students who find it more attractive to take classes there and non-traditional students (e.g. continuing ed). Can't see how they get to anywhere close to 6,000 though. YorkU domestic student recruitment is down 13% and international recruit has plummeted so they are in a poor position generally. Thanks! This is designed for
~5,000 people so it will be interesting to see how that affects the area to the west with all of the ‘stuff.’
