If the intent was to tie in the base of this building with the adjacent Odd Fellows Hall, couldn't they have at least used some brick? That would have saved us the sight of this mullion mess of a podium. I'll say at least the orange is the right hue but that's pretty much it

I think some kind of tax on shit architecture is in order. The city could certainly make a killing from Canderel alone.

This is an odd looking building. I really like the tower, but the crown and podium really stick out like sore thumbs.
