Toronto YC Condos -- Yonge at College | 198.42m | 62s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

I'd say the balconies take it from a D- to a C+. See how the podium hits the ground though and what the do with the mechanical space up top though.

This building is starting to block Aura as you walk south on Yonge these days. Lot more up on site

Good news: it blocks Aura
Bad news: it is by the same folks who designed and built Aura.

I am waiting for something to block the view of this building in all direction since it's not a nice looking building. Then, what is a nice looking building in the first place with only cookie cutters buildings been built these days??

Halo will eventually block it when you look down Yonge

To be honest I like aura more. I feel like this is a step backwards.

+1. Flaws aside, Aura has unique (though often awkward) profile, a bold curtainwall segment and an iconic roofline that stands out on skyline from many perspectives, day and night. Needless to say, it's disappointing to see how muted and uninspired the colour palette has been for many buildings in the immediate area, namely ROCP, Burano, Murano, Karma, and now YC... which tried, but failed.

More orange glazing up. From Grenville.

That's a horrifying amount of patched areas...are they just being treated badly or are they that badly built?
