Toronto Waterlink at Pier 27 | 43.89m | 14s | Cityzen | a—A

Guys, those can't be covered (per Enbridge's requirements). They are natural gas regulators and they need to be in the open air in the event of pressure buildup - they are ALL over the city, and visible 99% of the time. They're one of those things that are "hiding in plain sight". Like others have said - if they're directly to the north of the first phase then they're going to be blocked by the next phase. Nothing to get up-in-arms about.

any word for when Cityzen is going to launch the next phase of this? it has a horrible street presence right now and really needs the next phase to make it seems somewhat human.

It doesn't help that there's a giant fence blocking off the development from the street. I guess any resident who doesn't exclusively drive in/out has to walk along the edge of the driveway.

It might be awhile..we purchased a condo in phase 1 almost 7 years ago and we just starting to have talks about finishes! which by the way are very generic!

There should be a great public space and promenade at the foot of Yonge. Otherwise, the substantial stretch of waterfront between Yonge and Jarvis will be a deadzone similar to Harbour Square--in this case with a mix of a sprawling condo and a factory.

WT have plans for a park immediately east of Captain John's (or rather where Captain John's was - once it moves!). The plans for the Gouvernment site on north side of QQ also have plans for parkland.

I agree with Junctionist. The lack of a grand public space at the foot of Yonge feels like an oversight, and all the more so given all the development going to happen in the immediate area.
