Someone else already mentioned this, but I didn't catch the answer--is there something about this board that's making the pictures clearer? Because those look very nice.
 
The images can be bigger than before, so maybe that's part of it… but I also have quite a good camera now.

It's a Sony A6000. Tons to learn about it still. If you want to see one of its amazing capabilities, check out the thread for The Britt - it was dark when I got to that, and I had been happy with some other low light shots that I had taken previously, but while I thought these weren't going to turn out so well, I shot them anyway, just in case… am I ever pleased!

Walked past these on my way to a meeting at Corus Quay yesterday, they really look great and are something you'd see in a city like Rotterdam or London (I will not say the W-C word).

Once the pier where Capn John's used to be is revitalized and that parking lot on QQ disappears it'll do wonders for that stretch east of Yonge.
